About the Boxer Club of Canada

The Boxer Club of Canada Inc. was founded in 1947 and is the national breed club for Boxers in Canada. Affiliated with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), the Club is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of the Boxer breed across the country.

Our membership includes Boxer enthusiasts from across Canada, along with honorary lifetime members and friends of the breed in the United States. Members include breeders, exhibitors, performance participants, rescue advocates, and devoted owners, all united by a shared commitment to the Boxer.

Through education, competition, and community, the Boxer Club of Canada works to protect the integrity of the breed, celebrate its achievements, and support its future.

Club Objectives

  • To encourage and promote the breeding of purebred Boxers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection.
  • To urge members and breeders to accept the breed standard as approved by the Canadian Kennel Club as the only standard of excellence by which Boxers shall be judged.
  • To hold a National Specialty Show, booster events, and obedience trials under the rules of the Canadian Kennel Club, and to maintain a program of awards that encourages sportsmanlike competition and advances the interests of the breed.
  • To initiate and maintain educational programs and promotional activities that stimulate and extend public interest in the Boxer.
